At The Bridge, we believe that deep connections and discipleship happen best in small groups! We have three incredible girls’ small groups this semester, each led by amazing student leaders who are passionate about studying God’s Word, growing in faith, and having fun. Find a group that fits your schedule and jump in!

1️⃣ Emily & Deb’s Small Group – Tuesday Nights @ 7:00 PM

If you know Emily and Deb, you know this group is going to be HYPE! These ladies bring high energy, laughter, and a passion for Jesus to every meeting. Join them as they dive into Scripture and explore how it applies to real life.

2️⃣ Brooke & Tarryn’s Small Group – Wednesday Nights @ 7:00 PM (Meets at Brooke’s House)

Studying The Bible Recap by Tara-Leigh Cobble, this group will help you read through the entire Bible in a year while having deep discussions and tons of fun. Whether you’re a Bible study pro or just getting started, this is a great group to plug into!

3️⃣ Jen & Ella’s Small Group – Thursday Nights @ 7:00 PM (Memorial Union, Room S304)

This group is all about discovering your identity in Christ and building strong, Christ-centered friendships. Jen and Ella are passionate about discipleship and community, making this a great space to grow in your faith while connecting with other women on campus.

No matter which group you choose, you’ll find encouragement, truth, and a place to belong. We can’t wait to see you there!

Summer Missions: Casas Por Cristo
Mission Trip to Juarez, Mexico

Dates: May 24–May 29

Cost: $400

The Bridge is Partnering with King’s Church and heading to Juarez, Mexico, to work with Casas por Cristo and build a home for a family in need! We are covering most of the construction costs to keep your trip cost low—just $400! Spots are limited, and it’s first come, first served.

Key Deadlines:

• $100 Deposit: Due by the first Sunday in February.or when spots fill up

• Total Payment: Due by the first Sunday in April.

Trip Highlights:

• Saturday, May 24: Hit the road in 15-passenger vans (or your own vehicle) as we travel to Juarez.

• Sunday, May 25: Cross into Anapra, Mexico, to attend church with Algo Más and visit a local segunda (Mexican thrift market).

• Monday–Wednesday, May 26–28: Build a home for a family in need! Swing a hammer, lay walls, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

• Thursday, May 29: Early morning departure back to King’s Church.

Let me share a story about what God has done! Meet @dylan_edu_1 (Paulino) , an international student who has been working tirelessly while biking everywhere - to school, work, gym and walmart. He has been trying to save for school and purchase a car. He works at sports crusaders doing sports ministry through the week and comes home and works 2 long shifts at dominos. His dedication and hard work have been truly inspiring. A week ago, Paulino begged me to take him to Kansas City. He had found onFacebook Marketplace for months, a car within his budget. Unfortunately, all we found were vehicles that needed extensive repairs, beyond what Paulino could afford. So we waited andprayed. Without Jason and Annie Kauffman knowing anything about Paulino or his situation, they told their pastor @tjdreyer from @redemptionshillcolumbia that they felt led to give away their car if he knew of a need. On tuesday as tj and I were talking he asked how my weekend was and I told him about the junky cars Paulino made me go look at. That's when he told me I think I might have something for him. Paulino has received an amazing gift - a car! This donation will make an immense difference in his daily life, allowing him to focus even more on his studies, work, and church. Paulino is incredibly grateful and attributes this blessing to God and the kindness of others. His story reminds us of the importance of steadfastness, patience, and bringing everything to God. Our friends at @algomaschurch in Juarez Mexico are trying to help some of there students continue there education in college. It only cost $250 a year to send them. These are students that have gone through Algo Mas youth and are now continuing to grow and serve in the church. I thought how cool would it be if our students helped fund there students. Day 5 on Mission ! We started the day off learning about biblical hospitality! We tabled in Tampa, handing out waters and dog treats, and celebrated a birthday along the way. We got to experience the youth service at Calvary church, and you can’t miss out on ice cream after a long day! 🍦

Day 3 of Spring Break on MISSION! ☀️ Today we were given training and gained new tools to carry with us as we go and make disciples of all nations. We practiced techniques of sharing our testimonies, and grew our friendships stronger along the way. This evening, we were given the opportunity to do some beach evangelism, and celebrated together as one of our own decided to proclaim her faith through believers baptism! God is working!

Spring break on MISSION day 2 ✅ Started the day off with church @calvary.us followed by some awesome teachings of how to share the gospel and of course so many games. Can’t wait to see how God is going to work tomorrow as we go out into Tampa and evangelize!

Today is our last day of our RETHINK Conference at Mizzou. Session 1. Has Science Killed God by Dr Andy McIntosh at Hill Hall room 210 at noon. Session 2. Academia and Jesus Christ. Interview with several faculty from Mizzou. Tate Hall room 102 Bonfire at Westfall home 8-10:30pm following last session.

Two sessions on Wednesday March 20th for our apologetics series RETHINK. 1. Smart Design In Living Creatures by Dr. Andy McIntosh will be in middlebush room 210 12-1 2. Human trafficking by Julie Meranda in Tate Hall room 110. 7pm-8pm

Today 3/19/24 we have two apologetic lectures. 1. Human Origins by Dr. Jeff Tompkins it’s at noon at Middlebush room 210 2. Science and Jesus Christ by Dr. Jeff Tompkins and Dr. Andy McIntosh 7pm at Tate Hall room 102 Free food at each event! Also remember this is what we are doing for The Bridge tonight instead of normal services. Invite a friend and come be challenged, learn something new, and be encouraged by Gods Word.

Pray for our college students from around the state as they gather this weekend for our @mbcollegiate conference.

This year's @mbcollegiate Conference will be hosted here in Columbia at @parkadebaptist. We will be gathering with other college students from around the state for this 3-day conference. The first two days will be with Speaker Dr. James Chung, and worship will be by Jami Smith. The Sunday bonus service will be led by @colbycorsaut and Go Worship Band. The schedule and location details are in the pictures attached. Hope to see you all there. Bridge Students, for our free time on Saturday, we are renting out @witchesandwizardsarcade, and we will get dinner together. Please Share!!! Also, you won't want to miss our Friends with @gospelcoffee_ and @casasporcristo, who will be with us all weekend!
